My story

Thirty years with flowers in my hands

From a traditional apprenticeship to an RHS Chelsea Gold medal, and the studio I design from today.

A floral journey

A traditional apprenticeship

I learned the craft properly, working in florist shops and being taught the old way.

National Diploma

I was very proud to achieve my National Diploma in Professional Floristry.

Twenty years, my own shop

I ran my own beautiful florist shop for two decades, serving my community every day.

RHS Chelsea Gold

The world's greatest flower show, and a gold medal I am still proud of.

International & television

Installations, trade stands, photographic styling and TV demonstration work abroad.

Studio design today

Teaching, freelance work and bespoke weddings, all designed personally by me.

Tracy Rowbottom

A little about me

I am an award-winning floral designer, stylist and teacher based in Bristol, and an RHS Chelsea Gold medal winner. I served a traditional apprenticeship, achieved my National Diploma in Professional Floristry, and ran my own beautiful florist shop for 20 years. These days I work studio-based: teaching workshops, taking on freelance and installation work, and designing bespoke wedding flowers. It is extremely exciting where a humble apprenticeship in floristry has taken me.
